Provides a framework for your health & wellness initiatives
Small to Medium Employers
Smaller businesses have limited resources - Human Resources may be only one person wearing multiple hats, with little to no budget and limited expertise in managing programs aimed at reducing physical inactivity.  They don't know where to look for help or resources.

Drawing on over three decades of experience in the fitness and health industry, our goal is to make the connection between the business community and their local health clubs providing both stakeholders with the resources, programs, expertise and data to help employees move more, eat less and live better.
Health Clubs and Trainers
For the mid-tier health club operator, studio or personal trainer looking for new opportunities beyond a discount membership sale to small and medium businesses.

Clubs, studios and trainers have made attempts to reach into the business community, but they lack the connections and any marketing approach beyond the offer of a group discount. They need knowledge on how to package effective programs, perform the necessary outreach with the employee-base and deliver measurable outcomes for the employer.

Personal trainers need to position themselves as wellness experts  to employers, learn how to scale their offerings and manage effective partnerships.

About Dave Beadle

Dave is a fitness and health innovator on a mission to help people Move More. Eat Less. Live Better.  He brings over 35 years of fitness industry experience to each project and client.  He is a frequent speaker and presenter at industry conferences at the local and national level.  He is recognized as a thought leader who is not afraid to challenge conventional wisdom, a creative problem solver who thrives on partnership development.

Beginning in the early 1980’s, Dave's fitness career encompassed exercise testing and cardiac rehabilitation, recreation programming for health clubs, personal training and corporate fitness center management for clients in multi-tenant and corporate headquarters environments.  He was a top-producing sales rep for a large exercise equipment manufacturer serving markets across the western US, Alaska and Hawaii.

In 1996, Dave began working at Qualcomm overseeing employee-focused programs targeting health, events and recreation activities and health & wellness program development.  In 2002, Dave launched an expanded work-life balance program, QLife that enjoyed strong brand-awareness for over a decade.  This award-winning program was cited numerous times as a key attribute of the culture that kept Qualcomm on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list for over 10 years running.

As a strategic partner with the Facilities team, Dave was a key player in fitness center design and development expanding from 3 fitness centers in San Diego to 22 around the globe - new construction and renovation, indoor and outdoor, ranging in size from as little as 500sf to over 7000sf .  Dave has a reputation for service innovation and a passion for reaching out to the de-conditioned population.  This multi-site fitness operation utilized both staffed and un-staffed models. Working with numerous local providers and health clubs, he implemented a group exercise model that was 100% participant paid.  In order to manage the services on a national basis, Dave contracted with top fitness services providers using a unique competitive pilot program to select from among multiple vendors.

During this extraordinary growth, Dave created a culture that embraced fitness and wellness as part of a comprehensive work-life strategy.  “With 15 years’ experience in HR, I understand the interplay between health initiatives and benefits plan design.  And with 4 years in Facilities I also understand the need to balance HR objectives (recruitment, retention, work-life balance) with the need to utilize space to it’s highest value for the organization - efficiently and effectively.  Having sat across the desk from vendors, I know what it takes to get the interests of company decision makers.  But you don’t have to be big like a Qualcomm to add health & wellness to your company culture.“

In addition to Dave’s responsibilities for fitness services and operations, health & wellness program design and implementation he also managed to find time for on-site health center management, sports and recreation programming, family services such as child care resource & referral, adoption assistance, parenting education, club's program administration and on-site employee events.
Dave is a musician and lead singer in a band, an avid skier, motorcycle rider and scuba diver.  He loves to travel with his wife of 24 years.
Dave holds BS degrees in Marketing and Exercise Science from Oregon State University and an MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology from UC Davis.
As a military veteran, Dave is deeply passionate about the challenges faced by our service men and women who are making the transition from military to civilian life.  He was a key member of the team supporting Qualcomm’s Corporate Integration Program for Warrior Veterans (QCIP-Warriors) as a mentor, warrior manager, mentor lead and volunteer boot camp instructor since the inception of the program.
